We’re looking for a Founder/CEO to build an AI-powered compliance automation platform that solves the National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) reporting burden for pipeline operators.

What are we exploring?

Pipeline operators face federally mandated NPMS submissions annually, a process rife with GIS complexity, high stakes for errors (penalties up to $200K/day), and manual workflows still reliant on consultants. As regulations tighten and the scale of pipeline infrastructure grows, these compliance pressures will only increase.

The opportunity is to build an agentic platform that automates NPMS submissions end-to-end: validating geospatial data, packaging metadata, generating OSAVE-ready files, and providing always-on compliance management. This wedge creates a path to expand into adjacent oil & gas regulatory workflows, including emissions reporting and PHMSA certifications.

With every operator in the U.S. mandated to comply annually, this is a high-pain, no-choice market where AI automation can become critical infrastructure.

About you:

• Early-stage operator experience, and expertise in one or more of the following areas: GIS data management, oil & gas compliance, regulatory tech, or enterprise SaaS

• The ability to attract, hire, and lead world-class teams

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical and operational challenges

• A collaborative approach, with the capability to build partnerships across technical and non-technical teams

• A demonstrated passion for technology’s ability to change the world

• A desire to be a venture-backed founder

• Ability to collaborate in North American time zones
