Growth Venture Builder (6 months, German Speaker)

Founders Factory - Berlin - Hybrid - Contractor - up to 6000€ monthly

Location: Berlin or Munich (Hybrid)

Contract: 6 months — starting September or October 2025

We’re now looking for a well-rounded, hands-on Venture Builder to help launch a new startup in the climate space with Vonovia, Europe’s largest residential real estate company.

This isn’t your typical growth role. We're looking for a scrappy, commercially-minded builder who thrives in zero-to-one environments—someone equally comfortable shaping product, running rapid GTM experiments, and picking up the phone to help close a partnership.

As an interim co-founder, you’ll work alongside the founder to validate the problem, test early traction, build customer pipelines, and lay the foundations of a scalable business.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a high-ownership, hands-on role that spans growth, product, and sales:

  • Customer Discovery & Research: Continuously engage with users to understand their needs and pain points—then rapidly translate insight into action.
  • Scrappy Experimentation: Design and run lean experiments across channels, positioning, and pricing to validate demand and find signal.
  • Website & Funnel Optimization: Build and refine basic acquisition and onboarding funnels—using data to drive conversion and retention.
  • Community & Early Advocacy: Engage early users to foster a sense of community, surface feedback, and drive word-of-mouth traction.
  • Go-to-Market Development: shape and test the GTM strategy: segments, value propositions, and channel hypotheses.
  • Sales & Partnerships: Support the founder in building early B2B traction—this includes outreach, follow-ups, and helping close partnerships with solar developers, utility companies, and other ecosystem partners. You’re not afraid to get on calls and open doors.
  • Product Input: Feed back insights from users, prospects, and partners into product and journey design discussions.
  • Founder Partner: Be a thought partner—bringing structure, pace, and creative momentum to the founder and core team.

Bonus if you bring passion or experience in the energy space or climate tech.

What We’re Looking For

We’re not looking for a traditional growth marketer or someone who needs a perfect spec to execute. You’re:

  • Fluent in German (required), with strong English communication
  • Based in or willing to travel frequently to Berlin or Munich
  • 3–6 years in early-stage or startup environments—ideally across growth, product, or founder-type roles
  • Proven track record of testing and iterating fast—biasing for action over perfection
  • Analytical and product-minded—comfortable with tools like GA, Mixpanel, Hotjar, etc.
  • Comfortable in using AI tools to move fast, automate tasks, generate content, and stay productive
  • A structured thinker who can communicate clearly, act quickly, and learn faster than most
  • Energised by ambiguity, momentum, and being close to the customer
